Timothy, Susanne, Lyle and Leanne Beamer
How do you feel?”
“What do you mean how do I feel?” The blonde snapped, his fingers gripping the chair hard. He didn’t want to be here let alone answer these pointless questions. How were they going to help him with this so called healing process? It had been six months since the murder/suicide. And Young Lyle still felt empty and hopeless. “How do you feel?” The doctor asked yet again, his voice more annoyed than before. With a sigh and a twist of his lips Josh replied, his voice so broken and scared that even he didn’t recognize it. “I feel guilty — She forgot to take me with her.”

Oh jesus, you just had a big lunch but still when dinner comes around, it’s like it all vanished from the pit of your stomach and you’re just dying for more food.. That feeling of desire for food, that’s all Josh knows anymore. Lyle Joshua Beamer, the bright kid who could easily tell you exactly what Einsteins thought process was behind his largest theory, would never forgive you if you actually called him Lyle. Josh never understood what his parents were thinking by giving him that absolutely awful name, but never did he scorn them for it. If anything, he just let it happen. Josh is nothing but a nice kid, always listening to his friends, being a good spirit in most cases. He genuinely cares for people, those around him, what’s happening in their lives. Josh just likes food, that’s not so bad, is it? He’s the kind of kid who will give up his seat even though he ran a marathon. He has a low self esteem, and a depressing attitude at times, but who can honestly blame him. This poor irish lad has gotten nothing more than the worst, and it’s about time for a change.
A year ago, Josh was never this in love with food. He was actually a pretty strong athlete. He was the star of the football team, always at practice ten minutes early taking laps around the field, the fastest one in the game - everything you’d expect in a top knotch foot ball star.. But one awful December night, a few days before Christmas, Joshua’s life changed for the worst. Something so tragic and terrifying swept the boy, leading his life to demolish and his heart shattered on the ground. He had begged his mother for hours to let him slip out just for the night, to spend it with the guys. He didn’t understand why she was so against it at the time. All he wanted was to hang out with his best friends, Roger Spade, Cole Spade, and Wallace East. The spade brothers and Wally all wanted to go for a little road trip to get their mind off things.. And that was definitely something he needed. After the harsh break up with someone he thought he was in love with (Karen May) Josh didn’t know what to do with his life. And Graham Jackson was not helping. The boys knew that Josh just needed to get his mind off things, get out of that useless town, even if it was just for the night. And the boy thought that was the best night of his life, until they came home.
December 14th, 2010, two murders and a suicide were committed. Mr. Timothy Beamer, young Leanne Beamer, and Mrs. Susanne Beamer lost their lives that night, by the hand of Susanne herself. No one knows what drove her to do it, or why she did it that night, but it was obviously some pent up tension by the way it was done. Despite how badly his heart begged Josh not to ask, he questioned why his mother was found to be the murderer, the police stated they’d get back to him, then months later he received a letter in the mail explaining that by the wounds and how long their bodies were left, she murdered young Leanne Beamer first, by a gun to the head, quick and painless. It’s stated that Mr. Beamer though, had a longer, more painful murder. Lyle was taken back, set into a deep depression he never thought he’d be brought out of. Leanne was only 10, how could anyone kill her? His father was one of the sweetest men in the world, always romantic and kind.. Lyle never understood why this happened, what his mother was thinking when she killed them, and then herself, and he just wishes he could have had his life taken as well. Josh now lives with Wallace, despite his attempts to just run away at first or even take his life, Wall had always been there stopping him from doing such awful things. Wallace is basically the only thing Josh has left, next to the Spade brothers.
I you’re asking do I love you this much…I do❝“You don’t understand Wallace” I told him. ‘I’m going to marry you one day.’ I was nineteen, I’d known her for a week, but already I was sure. From that day to this, we’ve barely spent a day apart. Wallace is even more important to me than life. I wouldn’t even want to comtemplate life without him. ❞
